This work is part of an ongoing series concerned with mapping out the paths worn into the landscape by the movements of many people over time. This is revealed by thousands of individual LEDs, producing a sculptural form striking through the hillside. The line itself is an articulation of our natural inclinations whilst ascending the hill - illustrating a path of least resistance and our impulses when negotiating these spaces. The line demonstrates our innate capacities in this way, with light representing something uniquely human in this otherwise darkened landscape.
